Raymond E Lezina, Jr. , DVM

Dr. Ray Lezina was born in New Orleans, and graduated from Brother Martin High School (Cor Jesu); He received his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans.  Dr. Lezina then attended Tuskegee University Veterinary School for four years, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1974. After practicing in Tampa, Florida for 1 1/2 years, Dr. Lezina moved to Slidell where he established St. Tammany Animal Hospital. After 25 years, St. Tammany Animal Hospital merged with Pontchartrain Animal Hospital.

Currently, Dr. Lezina is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. He also supports the International Game Fish Foundation and the Billfish Foundation. He is a long standing member of the Aircraft Owner's and Pilot's Association. Dr. Lezina is married to Carol LeBlanc Lezina of New Orleans.  They have two children, Brian and Sheryl and are the proud grandparents of Brody and Casey!
